Description:

The Asset Integrity and Corrosion Engineer will support the Integrity and Corrosion Team on projects related to pipeline safety and corrosion management. Responsibilities include preparing detailed technical reports, analyzing cathodic protection data primarily in Excel, and providing field support by assisting technicians on pipeline integrity and corrosion projects. This role requires readiness to respond on short notice to urgent client needs. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical or Electrical background considered with strong CP experience) or an Associate of Applied Science in Pipeline Integrity/Corrosion. A key qualification is NACE Cathodic Protection Technician Level 1 certification. Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed technical reports for senior review and approval

  • Analyze cathodic protection data from field technicians, primarily using Excel

  • Assist field technicians with integrity and corrosion projects, including urgent fieldwork

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science (or AAS in Pipeline Integrity/Corrosion)

  • At least 1 year experience with CP, preferably with field experience

  • NACE CP Technician Level 1 certification (CP1)

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
