Associate Attorney

Description:

We’re seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our criminal and traffic defense team serving Central and Southern Virginia. You’ll represent clients in a variety of cases—from traffic infractions and DUIs to serious misdemeanors and felonies—appearing regularly in General District and Circuit Courts. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by a seasoned trial attorney with 29 years of courtroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in traffic and criminal matters across multiple jurisdictions
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for hearings and trials
• Advise and communicate with clients about legal strategies and case status
• Attend court regularly throughout Central and Southern Virginia
• Work closely with lead attorney for training, mentorship, and case development

Qualifications

• Active Virginia law license (or pending bar exam results)
• Strong interest in criminal and traffic defense
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel regionally for court appearances
• Recent graduates or attorneys with limited experience are encouraged to apply
