Estate Planning Attorney

Relational Estate & Elder Law, PLC is searching for a competent, compassionate, and self-motivated estate and elder law attorney in an associate or of-counsel role. This full-time position will have the responsibility to advise and guide clients as they make end-of-life decisions and navigate end-of-life scenarios, using best legal practices along with our Relational principles and model. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as wills, trusts, advance medical directives, powers of attorney, deeds, corporate documents, and agreements
• Advise clients on estate planning, elder law, and estate administration issues, including related real estate, charitable giving, tax, and business issues
• Represent clients in estate, conservator, guardian, and trust administration matters, including preparing the necessary petitions, orders, reports, notices, receipts, inventories, and/or accountings

Education and Experience:

This position requires a Juris Doctorate as well as a license to practice law in the state of Virginia. Prior experience in estate planning, estate administration and/or elder law is not required. Additional licenses in other surrounding states are welcome.
