EFCO Forming & Shoring Solutions, a global leader in providing innovative and high-quality concrete forming and shoring systems, is seeking a CAD Designer 1 to join its Seattle team. Established in 1934 and headquartered in Des Moines, IA, EFCO serves a diverse customer base worldwide, focusing on safety, efficiency, and delivering the Lowest in-Place Concrete Cost (LIPCC).

In this entry-level role, the CAD Designer will produce erection drawings that visually represent EFCO’s forming systems, playing an essential part in supporting engineering, manufacturing, sales, and field construction teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Erection Drawings (70%): Create accurate, high-quality erection drawings for both standard and custom projects, collaborating with engineers to meet EFCO’s exacting standards.

• Equipment Support (20%): Assist in managing equipment lists and making project-based adjustments to align with customer specifications and district needs.

• Learning & Development (10%): Participate in structured training to gain proficiency in EFCO’s proprietary systems, CAD software, and industry-standard drafting tools, while working under mentorship to expand technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (drafting coursework is a plus).

• Experience: Prior exposure to construction, drafting, or engineering environments is preferred.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in basic Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) software (Revit experience is a plus).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.

  • Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work full-time on-site.
