Description:

Essential Functions

  • Assists in the development of the Annual and Multi- Year Highway Improvement Programs.
  • Participates in special review and monitoring committees, including the District Safety Committee.
  • Maintains the district element of the PPS.
  • Provides programming data to district and central office bureaus and offices.
  • Reviews project documents of non-project or design report projects to ensure that they conform with state policy and programmed limits and costs.
  • Performs duties in compliance with departmental safety rules. Performs all duties in a manner conductive to the fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college OR master's degree in engineering OR Engineer Intern license in the state of Illinois.
  • 43 months of civil engineering experience.
