The Business Development Manager charts the course, develops a vision, and implements the plan that will propel the company towards increased market share and greater brand recognition. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Business Development Manager will be a strategic thinker with proven hunting skills. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization.

Required Skills/Abilities
 

  • Local and highly networked across the construction industry in groups like BOMA
  • Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals
  • Strategic, persistent with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be part of an established company
  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills to actively implement ideas
  • Curiosity, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in sales and business development in the commercial roofing industry or a similar trade

Education And Experience
 

  • Construction Management Degree preferred but not required
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior sales experience in a sales environment (service or production)
