Controller

Description:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and accounting personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting system ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

• Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, interfacing with the bank, credit card management, internal checks, and balances.

• Take ownership of the general ledger, including monthly financial close, expense accruals, reconciliations and journal entries and preparation of related financial reports.

• Act as the point of contact for external auditors

• Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 7-10 years of related experience
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in ERP system
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
