Description:
KACE Company is seeking a Cyber Financial Fraud Intelligence Analyst to provide analytical support to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) while embedded with the National Cyber Forensic Training Alliance (NCFTA). The analyst will engage with public and private sector entities to develop actionable cyber financial fraud intelligence, supporting law enforcement efforts to detect and prevent cyber-crime, mail theft, and financial fraud.
Key responsibilities include coordinating NCFTA efforts, leveraging private and public sector partnerships, participating in the Check Fraud Working Group (CFWG), liaising with private sector groups regarding current cyber financial threats, and supporting USPIS field cases. The analyst will also conduct internet-based platform analysis to identify mail theft hot spots, assess trends, patterns, and connections to active cases, and prepare structured intelligence reports for operational and analytical use.
The role may require occasional support outside core working hours, including intermittent weekends, depending on operational needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Intelligence, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in research, analysis, and reporting; criminal investigation experience highly desired
Knowledge of federal statutes, criminal and civil procedures
Experience developing complex financial civil and/or criminal cases for prosecution
Proficiency in analyzing data, interpreting patterns, and presenting results in reports and charts
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects with competing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and SharePoint
U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status
Ability to pass background investigation, drug screening, and credit check
Preferred Qualifications:
Significant experience supporting law enforcement or cyber-crime investigations
