Desktop Support Engineer

A global quant fund is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to set up, maintain, and enhance workstations, mobile devices, servers, and conference room systems. This role requires troubleshooting technical issues that impact mission-critical trading and enterprise environments. You’ll collaborate with top-tier professionals and gain exposure to high-level operations in a cutting-edge trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and maintain Windows 10 workstations, mobile devices, and servers.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues affecting trading and enterprise environments.

• Manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy configurations.

• Write and optimize PowerShell scripts to automate system tasks and improve efficiency.

• Maintain and enhance conference room systems and overall IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a System Engineering/System Administrator role.

• Expertise in Windows 10 support and configuration.

• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.

• Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy.

• A genuine passion for technology and problem-solving.

• (Nice to have) Experience with Linux.
