Glamour Gals Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a 25-year legacy of bridging generations through meaningful intergenerational service, is seeking a Director of Development, Major Gifts and Strategic Partnerships. This pivotal leadership role will drive the organization’s fundraising strategy, strengthen philanthropic engagement, and secure transformational gifts to scale its impact nationwide.
At GlamourGals, teens provide companionship and beauty makeovers to isolated seniors, fostering compassion and leadership in young people while combating senior loneliness. The organization is entering a bold new era with a five-year vision to expand its reach, scale programs, and strengthen sustainability. This role offers the unique opportunity to partner directly with the Founder and executive leadership in shaping the future of GlamourGals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Fundraising Leadership
Design and implement a multi-year strategy to expand GlamourGals’ portfolio of major gifts and partnerships.
Lead efforts to raise $5M annually in major gifts, alongside a $1–3M organizational budget supported by earned revenue.
Cultivate, solicit, and steward a dynamic portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
Leverage CRM tools, wealth screening, and donor analytics for data-driven fundraising strategies.
Team Management & Collaboration
Lead and mentor development staff, driving increased revenue opportunities through annual celebration events, satellite programs, and stakeholder engagement.
Collaborate with board members, program staff, and senior leadership to align philanthropy with organizational goals and values.
Promote a culture of philanthropy across the organization, integrating major gifts with annual giving, planned giving, and capital campaigns.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship
Cultivate deep relationships with major donors and partners, aligning their philanthropic goals with GlamourGals’ mission.
Represent the organization at high-profile events, donor meetings, and other external forums with professionalism and impact-driven storytelling.
Develop proposals, presentations, and tailored engagement opportunities for major donors.
Build stewardship plans that communicate impact, inspire loyalty, and ensure long-term donor investment.
Organizational Leadership & Reporting
Serve on the Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational goal setting.
Provide regular updates on fundraising metrics, pipeline health, and performance to leadership and the Board of Directors.
Stay informed on philanthropic trends and best practices to refine fundraising strategies.
Qualifications:
8–10 years of progressive fundraising experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to major and transformational gifts.
Proven track record in securing six- and seven-figure contributions.
Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Experience managing development teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
Knowledge of donor-advised funds, gift structures, and matching gift programs.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in nonprofit fundraising, philanthropy, or related fields strongly valued.
Bonus: Experience working with or mentoring young people, especially young women.
What the Organization Offers:
Competitive salary between $105,000 – $150,000 annually ($8,750 – $12,500 monthly).
