Description:
Pasona N A, Inc., a North American subsidiary of a Japan-based engineering group specializing in advanced mechanical systems, is seeking a District Manager to oversee and expand its market share across the assigned territory in Colorado. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background, particularly in mechanical engineering, and a proven track record in sales.
As the District Manager, you will be responsible for the complete management of your territory, maintaining and developing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and driving growth through strategic account management. You will also collaborate closely with engineering teams and provide guidance to new district managers.
Manage and grow assigned territory by increasing market share within existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
Conduct remote and face-to-face sales visits to maintain strong business relationships.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and received targets.
Coordinate with Sales Administration Representatives for account management functions including product delivery and accounts receivable.
Oversee new project development, liaising between customer engineering and company engineering teams.
Submit timely sales activity reports via Salesforce and maintain accurate forecasts.
Conduct quarterly product training seminars and participate in trade shows.
Mentor new District Managers and share best practices to improve regional sales performance.
Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes to ensure timely resolutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
3+ years of sales experience in bearings, motion control, power transmission, or related industries.
Strong product knowledge in linear guides, ballscrews, actuators, rotary bearings, motion control, and power transmission.
Technical understanding of motion, dynamics, and statics as they relate to linear motion products.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, and database systems; AS400 experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to carry sample cases (2 x 24 lbs.), drive, and travel by air as required.
Competitive annual salary ($80,000 – $90,000, DOE).
