Executive Project

Description:

This individual will be responsible for end-to-end management across various deliverables for the Modern Data Platform transformational program. This will involve high rigor, attention to detail and high complexity in a fast-paced environment.

Partners with the internal platform teams, CIO partners, infrastructure delivery teams and central project managers to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.

Experience with Hadoop is a must to support Development teams and SDLC.

Responsibilities include:
• Presentations to senior management
• Partner with central project management team
• Define project milestones and socialize to business partners
• Hold resources accountable to agreed-to task completion dates
• Risk management and mitigation planning
• Project execution, integration and implementation
• Establish and maintain relationships with technical partners
• Escalate project risks and issues to the Portfolio Delivery Manager and Leadership
Ideal candidate will be a strong leader who will be heavily utilizing their Agile Scrum skills as well as Agile Jira tools as part of the day-to-day management to drive out the project deliverables and hold project resources accountable to agreed-to delivery dates. Excellent PowerPoint, Visio skills are a must. Ability to work with teammates across all personalities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience and technical knowledge of Hadoop is a significant plus. 7+ plus years of relevant experience
