Finance Director

Description:

Robert Half is currently seeking a Finance Director to join a dynamic and expanding manufacturing organization based in St. Augustine, FL. This is a senior leadership position designed for a seasoned finance professional with strong expertise in strategic financial management, legal governance, M&A transactions, cash management, and AI-driven financial analysis.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in leading finance and accounting teams, overseeing financial operations, and driving innovation using AI tools within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial and accounting operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and manufacturing industry best practices.

• Develop and execute effective cash management strategies to improve liquidity and maximize capital efficiency.

• Oversee governance, legal compliance, and M&A activities, including due diligence and risk assessments.

• Implement strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance financial forecasting, reporting, and risk modeling processes.

• Partner with executive leadership to drive financial performance and ROI on strategic initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and timely completion of financial audits.

• Mentor and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA and/or CMA strongly preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership, particularly in manufacturing.

• Recognized expertise in cash management and strategic liquidity planning.

• Strong background in governance, legal compliance, and M&A execution.

• Proven experience with AI-based tools for financial analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization.

• High proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting software, and data analytics platforms.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strategic thinking and the ability to drive long-term financial initiatives.
