Description:

Faegre Drinker is actively seeking an experienced Finance & Restructuring Associate to join its Corporate Restructuring practice. This role may be based in the Dallas, New York, Wilmington, or Minneapolis offices, offering an opportunity to collaborate within a highly regarded legal team that advises on complex bankruptcy and financial matters.

The firm’s Finance & Restructuring group provides clients with comprehensive, strategic counsel across corporate debt restructurings, insolvency proceedings, and associated litigation. This position offers exposure to a diverse client base and the chance to work on high-impact cases in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle sophisticated restructuring and bankruptcy matters including litigation support

  • Provide legal analysis and strategy for debt restructuring and financial distress issues

  • Prepare court filings, motions, and related documentation in connection with restructuring cases

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners across practice groups

  • Manage multiple assignments and projects with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in bankruptcy and restructuring law

  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research skills

  • Strong academic background and commitment to high-quality work

  • Ability to effectively manage time and workload independently

Work Mode: Hybrid (minimum 3 days in office per week)
Job Type: Part-time (as listed, though role duties imply substantial time commitment)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $210,000 – $280,000 (monthly equivalent: $17500 – $23333)
