Fpga Design Engineer

Description:

The FPGA Design Engineer will be responsible for digital design, FPGA architecture, coding, validation, and system-level troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FPGA design, verification, and scripting for automation.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ FPGA Design & Development:

• Hands-on experience with requirements specification, detailed design, design validation, and qualification.
• Architect, code, and verify FPGAs using VHDL.
• Deep knowledge of digital design fundamentals and FPGA tooling (synthesis, building, timing analysis, and simulation).

✅ Design Verification & Troubleshooting:

• System Verilog proficiency for design verification.
• Hands-on experience with board, module, and system-level electronic troubleshooting.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bus analyzers.
• Familiarity with PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, and SRIO FPGA cores.

✅ Automation & Scripting:

• Bash/Perl/Python scripting for automated self-checking test bench verification, validation, and process automation.

Required Qualifications:

✔ 6+ years of experience in electronic design.
✔ Strong competence in FPGA tools and digital design fundamentals.
✔ Hands-on experience with VHDL coding and FPGA architectures.
✔ Experience in structured problem-solving and process-driven environments.

Preferred Skills:

➤ Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, SRIO).
➤ Experience in test bench verification and validation.
➤ Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software integration.
