Member Duties : ALA is seeking a VISTA intern to support ALA’s Chief Development Officer in scaling their fundraising efforts in the following areas of fund development: Reporting Systems: • Researching, developing, and implementing platforms to utilize fundraising, grant writing, and business development for the organization Grantwriting: • Develop and implement a grant management system • Research potential funding opportunities, assist in writing and updating grant reports Business Development: • Research opportunities to grow existing service contracts for Permanent Supportive Housing and opportunities to establish Social Enterprise opportunities (fee-based programming) Fundraising: • Research future funders (Foundations/Corporate) for the organization • Develop ALA's Corporate Giving Partners (through corporate giving/employee match programs) • Develop templated presentation materials that can be utilized by the CDO beyond the VISTA assignment
