Global Head Of Business Development

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Head of Business Development – Biologics to lead its global expansion efforts. This senior-level role involves driving new acquisitions, developing territory expansion strategies, managing a sales team, and building strategic partnerships with leading biopharma companies worldwide. Based in Morrisville, NC, this position offers an opportunity to directly influence the future of vaccines, gene therapies, and advanced biologics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new CDMO business opportunities.

• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for expansion in both new and existing markets.

• Develop and implement detailed territory expansion plans aligned with global business objectives.

• Represent FUJIFILM Biotechnologies at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events.

• Manage client negotiations, ensuring contractual compliance and alignment with company goals.

• Collaborate with legal, commercial, product, sales, and marketing teams to execute business strategies.

• Provide market insights, recommendations, and business development strategies to executive leadership.

• Work closely with demand planners to address customer needs effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a science-related field (preferred).

• Minimum 12+ years in business development with extensive strategic planning experience.

• At least 8+ years in managing and leading sales teams.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Proven track record in setting sales targets and achieving business growth goals.

• Ability to influence senior leaders across global organizations.

• Structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and driven mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: 19166 – 23333 USD/month
