Description:
The Junior Graphic Designer is a creative visionary responsible for elevating and evolving the visual identity of Aventon’s product lines. Reporting to the Creative Director, and working alongside the Sr. Graphic Designer, this role plays a pivotal part in leading the design team, contributing to brand strategy, and executing visually stunning graphics across various mediums. The Junior Graphic Designer brings a wealth of experience to drive innovation and maintain consistency in brand representation. Please note this is a temporary, 90-day , contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Aid the development and maintenance of brand standards across Aventon’s family of brands.
- Elevate and refine brand identities in alignment with target customers and evolving marketing strategies.
- Contribute to the strategic vision and positioning of Aventon’s visual identity.
- Design and execute visually impactful graphics for various channels, including email marketing, social media, printed catalogs, web graphics, and advertisements.
- Ensure consistency in brand representation across all design elements.
- Play a key role in shaping the visual direction of e-commerce website, focusing on color, typography, and layout designs.
- Collaborate with the web development team to enhance the overall user experience.
- Oversee the creation of printed materials, product packaging, and other tangible brand assets.
- Ensure that printed materials align with brand standards and convey a cohesive visual message.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Experience in graphic design, with a focus on brand development and multichannel execution.
- Previous experience in the action sports, outdoor/recreation, or cycling industry a plus.
- A current portfolio showcasing a diverse range of graphic design skills and projects.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in design elements.
- Proficient in creative suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) on both PC/Mac platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in 3D animation is a plus.
