Lab, Laboratory Testing Technician

Description:

A typical day for the laboratory testing technician involves sample processing, performing quality control checks, and providing overall laboratory support. The technician works with equipment setup for staining and imaging, prepares reagents, manages specimens, and assists with inventory and quality management activities. This role will spend the majority of time on three primary functions: equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables; and managing slide specimens, including archiving, tracking, and storage.

Requirements
 

• At least an associate's degree in biological science (i.e., biology, chemistry, etc.)
• Laboratory work experience required.
