As a Logistics Associate, you will help optimize and improve the efficiency of supply chain operations. This includes analyzing shipping data, evaluating transportation routes, and proposing cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve the efficiency of the supply chain.

• Examine historical shipping data to identify patterns and potential bottlenecks.

• Work with transportation teams to evaluate and suggest improvements to route effectiveness.

• Propose alternate routes or modes of transportation to reduce transit times and costs.

• Assist the Senior Logistic Coordinator in managing logistics quality, costs, and efficiency.

• Analyze large logistics datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Evaluate transportation options to find the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.

• Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and propose ways to streamline operations.

• Handle maintenance and repair vendor procurement processes.

• Book and coordinate import and export shipments with operations teams.

• Conduct cost-benefit analyses of logistics strategies.

• Evaluate partner and vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance.

• Monitor liability policies with suppliers regarding maintenance.

• Plan logistics resources based on peak demand periods.

• Serve as the point of contact for visitors to the center, including corporate employee visits.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. Logistics policies and procedures, including the correct creation of documentation.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma.

• At least 1 year of experience in distribution or warehouse operations, with a proven ability to improve operational efficiency.

• Strong judgment and creativity for problem-solving.

• Ability to analyze business trends and behavior through data interpretation.

• Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
