Warehouse Associate

Description:

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Houston, TX location. This role supports warehouse operations by selecting, locating, loading, and unloading merchandise, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and assisting with inbound/outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review incoming material orders/pick tickets.

• Locate materials on warehouse shelves.

• Place materials on order pickers, pallet jacks, or forklifts.

• Deliver items to loading areas for wrapping and shipment.

• Unload delivery trucks.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse distribution experience.

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating double electric pallet jacks.

• Ability to operate a cherry picker up to 20+ feet.

• Forklift and other equipment experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.

• Availability for required overtime.

Work Schedule:

• Day shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to finish.
