A respected law firm located in Portland, Maine is seeking a Paralegal to support attorneys handling Specialized Injury-Related matters. What You’ll Do
 

• Review and summarize case files and help attorneys plan next steps
• Collect and organize medical records; prepare medical summaries
• Conduct legal and medical research as needed
• Draft legal documents such as discovery responses, subpoenas, and pre-hearing memos
• Interview witnesses and help prepare them for hearings
• Communicate with clients, medical experts, and court personnel
• Track and record billable time accurately
• Assist legal assistants and other staff as needed
   

What We’re Looking For
 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a legal team
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and general computer skills
• Experience with legal or medical research is a plus
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
