The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 year’s experience in a supervisory position in a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant manufacturing environment.
• Understands and is knowledgeable of cGMP, OSHA standards etc.
• Hands on experience with any of the following processes preferred: Blending/Granulation, Tablet Compression and/or Film Coating, Encapsulation, or Pharmacy/Pre-Weigh Dispensing.
• Warehouse Experience
• ERP
• Enforce GMP’s
• Create and maintain SOP’s
• Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Inventory management
• Budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, cost controls, and human resource
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Outstanding communication ability
