Description:

CBS Miami is seeking a highly skilled Sports Multi-Skilled Photographer to join their dynamic team. The role requires versatility across multiple functions, including shooting, producing, writing, and editing sports segments and shows. The candidate will also engage in MMJ (multi-media journalism) reporting, producing content, and serving as a fill-in anchor as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shooting, producing, writing, and editing sports stories and segments.

• Assisting in the creation and production of innovative, high-energy sports content.

• Demonstrating strong photography and writing skills.

• Setting up live shots and using professional audio equipment.

• Troubleshooting minor equipment issues in the field and performing basic vehicle maintenance.

• Managing and efficiently ingesting media.

• Performing other duties as assigned by the manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sports media or broadcasting.

• Proficiency with Grass Valley Edius or similar editing platforms.

• Experience with LIVE U backpacks or similar live broadcast technology.

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments, including holidays, nights, weekends, and occasional short-notice travel.
