Physical Therapist

Peer Consulting Resources Inc. is hiring a Physical Therapist for a full-time, on-site role based in Bruce, Mississippi. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to help patients regain independence, strength, and mobility through home-based therapy. The ideal candidate will deliver skilled, compassionate care tailored to each patient's specific needs and help them achieve optimal physical function.

As a key part of the patient’s care team, the therapist will support functional recovery following injury, illness, or surgery, while enhancing quality of life through therapeutic techniques and goal-oriented rehabilitation plans. This position requires strong clinical skills, clear communication, and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized skilled physical therapy treatment for patients in home health settings

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and limitations, documenting findings for treatment planning

• Develop and implement therapy programs based on physician directives and patient goals

• Adjust treatment strategies to ensure the best outcomes

• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to review and revise therapy plans

• Provide written instructions and supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aide staff

• Monitor therapy documentation and staff compliance with care plans

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and updates

• Submit evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries as required

• Communicate patient progress regularly to physicians, care managers, and family members

Required Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (approved by APTA)

• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license

• Current CPR certification

• Minimum 1 year of experience in physical therapy preferred

• Valid driver's license, personal transportation, and auto insurance

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Work Schedule:

• Full-time

• 40 hours per week
