Description:

Lantern Health, a direct primary care (DPC) practice, is seeking a Physician Partner to join their Belmont, NC community. The role offers the chance to practice primary care with a focus on relationship-based care, where physicians can spend more time with patients and avoid the burdens of traditional fee-for-service models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care to clients of all ages and varying socioeconomic levels.

• Conduct longer, less rushed appointments, fostering deeper connections with patients.

• Engage in leadership areas of interest, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

• Participate in both in-person and virtual care through a privacy-protected app, giving clients access via text, phone, and video.

• Work collaboratively with a team of physicians, nurses, and health coaches to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Must be aligned with Lantern Health’s mission, vision, and values, with a passion for transforming healthcare.

• Family Medicine preferred, but other primary care backgrounds may be considered.

• Strong motivation to work smarter and independently as part of a small, dynamic team.

• Ability to make meaningful connections with clients and the community.
