Project Manager

Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity at a local long standing, reputable steelwork contractor. They are currently looking for a Project Manager with knowledge of the Structural and Miscellaneous steel. This position would require 3 years’ experience at a steelwork contractor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage construction budgets and negotiate to save cost and time
• Coordinate schedules for material, equipment and installation
• Communicate and work closely with detailers, estimators and erectors
• Review, amend and submit shop drawings
• Good time management - managing clients expectations and needs
• Visit job sites and attend meetings when needed
• Communicate with general contractors, engineers, management and architects.

Experience:

• Three to five years of project management experience in steel construction
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Ability to read and interpret steel & architectural drawings
• Bachelors in Project Management (preferred)
