Description:
Protouch Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Registered Nurse – Med Surg for a contract assignment based at a healthcare facility located at 580 Court St, Keene, NH. This position offers competitive hourly compensation and a professional working environment in a well-supported medical team.
The RN will work in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit and must be skilled in handling diverse patient populations including those with cardiac and dementia-related conditions. Proficiency with EPIC charting and the ability to float to the Kingsbury Unit when needed are required.
This is a 12-hour Day shift position with flexible assignment durations, making it a great opportunity for nurses seeking meaningful work and stability.
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg environment
Administer cardiac drips and monitor cardiac patients
Manage care for dementia patients with compassion and expertise
Accurately document patient data using EPIC electronic medical records
Perform NIHSS assessments (preferred)
Float to Kingsbury Unit as per operational needs
Maintain compliance with healthcare protocols and safety guidelines
Active RN license
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing role
Cardiac drip experience (must be documented on resume)
Experience in dementia patient care required
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
NIHSS certification preferred
Flexibility to float to Kingsbury Unit when necessary
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-care skills
Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13-week contract (with option for extension to 26 weeks or until Jan 3, 2026)
