Senior Accountant

We are assisting a client, an international manufacturing company who is a division of a publicly-traded international company, with their search for a Controller Job in downtown office. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred (not required)
• Approximately 2-8 or more years of related accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate either has a mix of public accounting/industry experience OR strong industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, cost accounting principles
• Experience with training, supervision of accounting staff strongly preferred
• Knowledge of financial consolidation tools (i.e. Hyperion, BPC, or Cognos)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MAS 200, etc.) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
