Senior Accountant

Description:

A Miami-based hospitality group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its growing team in a hybrid capacity, working three days onsite. This role offers a competitive salary package with bonus opportunities and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in hospitality accounting and multi-entity consolidation.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and intercompany transactions. The role requires oversight of the month-end and year-end close processes, preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and maintaining strong internal controls. The successful candidate will lead audits, tax filings, and cash flow management while working closely with leadership on strategic planning and financial modeling.

In addition, the Senior Accountant will be expected to identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency, as well as support KPI tracking and performance analysis to drive business success.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience, including P&L management and consolidation

• Multi-entity consolidation experience is mandatory

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, audit readiness, and internal controls

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel skills

• Ability to travel up to 10%
