Senior Associate

Description:

Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate in Product Management to lead the Mobile Account Opening experience for the bank’s digital customers. This role is critical in shaping the first impressions customers have when interacting with Capital One’s digital banking services through its mobile app. The selected candidate will work with a cross-functional team focused on converting user interest into account openings across iOS and Android platforms.

As a Product Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution of new and optimized account opening experiences, ensuring high conversion rates, quality personalization, and smooth application flows. This includes building new marketing offers, experimenting with bundled financial products, and modernizing front-end mobile architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead one frontend technology team in managing the customer-facing mobile account opening experience.

• Drive seamless conversion from product interest to account opening within the mobile app.

• Optimize the application funnel to boost conversion rates and user engagement.

• Implement experimentation strategies to improve user flow and application success.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to deploy targeted offers and bundled product features.

• Contribute to the modernization of Capital One’s mobile frontend architecture.

• Work closely with designers, data scientists, marketers, technologists, and analysts to build innovative and customer-centric solutions.

• Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals and priorities.

• Solve complex problems by breaking them down and iterating toward impactful solutions.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience

• At least 1 year of experience in product management or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

• 1+ years of experience translating business strategy into customer-facing digital products

• 1+ years of experience working with core platforms powering digital experiences

• 1+ years of agile product ownership experience with cross-functional teams

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary (NYC): $118900 to $135700

• Monthly Equivalent: $9908 – $11308

• Incentives: Eligible for performance-based bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI), which may include cash and stock options
