Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage portions of client projects focused on technology audit, risk assessment, and IT advisory.

• Supervise and mentor interns and consultants, overseeing project deliverables, documentation, and audit methodologies.

• Identify areas of technology risk, inefficiencies, and opportunities for performance improvement within client organizations.

• Develop and execute IT audit methodologies, including preparation of process flows, work programs, control summaries, and audit reports.

• Conduct audits and assessments in areas such as:

  • IT General Controls (ITGC)

  • Cybersecurity

  • Cloud and Data Governance

  • Enterprise Applications (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Disaster Recovery and Technology Resilience

  • Emerging Technologies (AI, Automation, Analytics)

• Collaborate closely with clients to translate technical audit issues into practical business solutions.

• Maintain compliance with frameworks including COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, and SOX requirements.

• Apply data-driven insights through tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and RPA solutions to support audit findings and recommendations.

• Assist in the development of client deliverables, including presentations and reports for senior stakeholders.

• Cultivate professional relationships and build networks across industries to enhance client engagement quality and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related business field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal audit, IT risk management, consulting, or related disciplines.

• Strong understanding of audit methodologies and IT control frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of Visio and Access.

• Experience with data analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx preferred.

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, or CISSP are highly desirable.

• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills with an ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

• A proactive mindset toward innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Work Environment

Protiviti follows a hybrid work model, offering a mix of remote work and in-person collaboration at local offices or client sites. Travel may be required depending on project scope and client needs. The role involves direct interaction with cross-functional teams and diverse clients across various industries, promoting both professional and personal growth.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000 – $134,000 annually

• Bonus Target: 10% performance-based incentive

• Total Cash Compensation: $99,000 – $147,400 annually
