Senior Electrician

Description:

Regal Rexnord is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrician to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment at their Canal Street facility in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial electrician experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and expertise in handling a wide variety of production and process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on diverse equipment including production machines, process systems, and facilities infrastructure.

• Diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions using schematics, diagrams, and technical documents.

• Specify and direct work performed by other employees and contractors.

• Conduct construction-type electrical work, including running pipe and wiring installations.

• Maintain workplace cleanliness and adhere to 5S and company safety procedures.

• Communicate effectively within teams and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 15 years of industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret schematics.

• Experience with machine tool electronics, Siemens and Allen-Bradley controls, and PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc).

• Familiarity with older electrical systems, including DC systems and AC/DC overhead cranes.

• High voltage experience preferred; knowledge of electrical distribution systems required.

• Ability to read blueprints, ISO procedures, and work instructions.

• Competency in basic arithmetic and use of maintenance software.
