Rincker Law, PLLC — a nationally recognized law firm serving rural families, agribusinesses, and professionals — is looking for a Senior Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law & Guardianship Attorney to take the helm of our growing practice.

This leadership position offers the opportunity to manage a full caseload while mentoring junior attorneys, shaping strategy, and working in a supportive, flexible environment that prioritizes work-life balance.

Core Practice Areas:

• Estate & Succession Planning
• Probate & Trust Administration
• Elder Law & Adult Guardianships
• Trust Funding (including real estate deeds)
• Business Formations & Entity Structuring
• Estate and business planning for agricultural clients and rural families

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the estate planning, probate, and elder law division of the firm
• Handle a wide range of cases, including wills, trusts, adult guardianships, probate proceedings, and trust administration
• Assist with business formation, entity governance, and funding of trusts (e.g., deed preparation and asset transfers)
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff
• Develop strong relationships with clients, many of whom are farm families or small business owners
• Collaborate with colleagues in related practice areas to offer holistic legal solutions

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois
• 5–7+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship law
• Experience with drafting trusts, handling probate court matters, and real estate deed work
• A working knowledge of entity formation and business succession planning
• Passion for client service and clear, practical advice
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and mentor others

Work Location & Flexibility:

• Work from our Champaign or Shelbyville offices, hybrid, or fully remote
• Travel to local court appearances or client meetings may be required based on case needs
