Senior Financial Analyst

Description:

Adecco is partnering with a highly regarded, publicly traded automotive manufacturing company located in Oakland County, Michigan, for a confidential search to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. This full-time hybrid role offers significant exposure to strategic project work, capital investment initiatives, and collaboration with both operations and senior leadership.

The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on capital investment analysis, cash flow modeling, and financial risk evaluation. The role supports manufacturing and program teams in evaluating assumptions, building financial models to analyze returns, and aligning investment decisions with the company's strategic financial goals. A strong understanding of manufacturing operations, program finance, and cost drivers is essential.

Additional responsibilities include leading post-project reviews and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in the capital allocation process. While the position has a light treasury aspect, the core emphasis is on operations finance and strategic resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze capital investments and develop cash flow and return models

• Evaluate project assumptions with program and manufacturing teams

• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and scenario modeling

• Conduct post-completion reviews to assess investment outcomes

• Lead improvements in capital planning and resource allocation

• Provide financial insights to support cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications:

• 5–7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or capital planning

• Strong skills in capital appropriations and DCF (discounted cash flow) analysis

• Proficiency in financial modeling and preparing decision-support presentations

• Background in automotive or industrial environments is preferred

• MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is a plus
