Mondrian Alpha, a prestigious global systematic hedge fund, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join its high-performance New York team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a low-latency technology team, working on the maintenance and development of mission-critical front office applications that directly impact trader performance and decision-making.

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale data processing pipelines used for research, ensuring that applications remain reliable, fast, and efficient. A major focus will be on automation, performance tuning, and infrastructure scalability to enhance operational efficiency. Your work will involve building robust monitoring systems, streamlining deployments, and optimizing system performance for speed and fault tolerance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in site reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.

  • Strong expertise in infrastructure automation and orchestration tools.

  • Proficiency in Python and Linux systems administration.

  • Experience with storage systems and large-scale data handling.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers (PMs) and traders.

  • Preferred: Exposure to financial markets or fintech environments.
