Senior Superintendent

Verrus, in partnership with a leading general contractor known for innovation, safety, and top-tier construction quality, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to manage large-scale Data Center construction projects. This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion and presents a chance to lead mission-critical projects valued over $100 million.

As the Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex, high-value data center builds in excess of 30MW. Your leadership will directly influence the success of project execution, ensuring that performance standards for safety, quality, and efficiency are upheld at all stages. You may also manage Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, Field Assistants, and Interns, providing mentorship and maintaining cohesive and motivated site teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Full lifecycle leadership of Data Center construction projects from start to finish.

• Close collaboration with project leadership to maintain high performance standards.

• Daily management of schedules, workflows, and interdepartmental communication.

• Enforcing strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

• Driving continuous improvement in quality and operational excellence.

• Solving on-site issues quickly and effectively to avoid delays or disruptions.

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years’ leadership experience on large-scale Data Center construction projects.

• Demonstrated success on builds over $100 million.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Deep understanding of construction scheduling, OSHA/safety regulations, and quality management.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, especially under pressure.

• PMP certification is preferred, showcasing formal project management expertise.
