Social Media Intern

Description:

Unite for Rights is looking for a passionate Social Media Intern to assist with content creation and digital engagement. The role involves helping to develop and schedule content for various social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and podcast channels. Interns will also design graphics, write engaging captions, and engage with followers to help expand the organization's reach.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a global human rights movement while gaining real-world experience in digital communications. Interns will assist with social media campaign planning, performance tracking, and trend research to optimize posts.

Qualifications include:

• A genuine interest in social justice, human rights, and nonprofit work

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (Canva, Adobe, InDesign)

• Strong writing and creative skills, with attention to detail

• Organized, self-motivated, and collaborative nature

This is an unpaid internship, but there is the potential to negotiate educational credit or a record of hours worked for course or degree requirements.
