Solutions Architect

Description:

Capital One is seeking top-tier talent to join their pioneering team at Capital One Software. As a Solutions Architect, you will help lead the charge in data management solutions for businesses operating in the cloud. This role is pivotal in engaging with customers, advocating for their needs, and providing technical leadership and guidance in both pre-sales and post-sales stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate trust and build relationships with customers by identifying pain points and desired business outcomes.

• Represent the voice of customers internally to influence organizational objectives, product roadmaps, and customer experience improvements.

• Manage relevant customer activity, identify risks, growth opportunities, and partner with internal teams to address them.

• Lead and manage key processes such as tech fit discoveries, customer feedback, and FAQs.

• Serve as a knowledge resource for coworkers and customers, assisting with complex situations and ambiguous environments.

• Lead cross-functional efforts to meet customer needs, including achieving targets for product fit and growth.

• Drive high customer satisfaction by offering proactive solutions based on data.

• Conduct architectural reviews for customers, focusing on business requirements and solution design.

• Stay current with new technologies, evaluating what’s a good fit for customers and Capital One.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Military experience (Master’s preferred).

• Experience:

  • At least 4 years in design, implementation, or consulting on distributed applications.

  • 3+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and data security.

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud architecture.

  • Presentation skills to communicate effectively with executives and IT management.

  • Experience in API design, integration, security frameworks (NIST, ISO), and cryptography.

  • Familiarity with B2B sales processes and client relationship management.
