Store Associate

Description:

JD Finish Line is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Store Associates to join their team at the Mall of Georgia location in Buford, GA. As a Store Associate, you will be at the forefront of the customer shopping experience, ensuring satisfaction by delivering superior service, managing daily operations, and contributing to store success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional shopping experience through outstanding customer interaction and service.

• Support sales goals through efficient merchandise management, effective promotional activities, and achieving sales targets.

• Participate in operational tasks such as inventory control, visual merchandising, shipment processing, and store upkeep.

• Collaborate with the team to meet store objectives while maintaining company standards and health/safety compliance.

• Handle POS transactions, fulfill customer orders, and maintain sales records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old (16+ in specific states as listed).

• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Basic math and English proficiency for business and sales tasks.

• Consistent punctuality and attendance.

• Tech-savvy, with knowledge of point-of-sale systems preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for prolonged periods (4–14 hours/day).

• Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs/ladders to stock or obtain merchandise.

• Capable of lifting 5–25 lbs regularly (more in some instances).

• Good visual ability, including color distinction.

• Work performed in a moderately noisy retail environment.
