Task Associate

Description:

Ulta Beauty, the largest North American beauty retailer, is seeking a Task Associate to support operational excellence in its Livingston, NJ store. The Task Associate plays a critical role in ensuring all store tasks are executed efficiently, merchandise is stocked, and the store environment remains clean and inviting for guests. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM), this role focuses on performance metrics, team support, and adherence to company processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure store retail goals are met by keeping merchandise stocked and tasks completed.

• Complete shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures.

• Maintain attendance and punctuality.

• Foster an inclusive environment for teammates and guests, contributing to a positive store culture.

• Participate in ongoing training to enhance professional development and sales performance.

• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and dress code.

• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and process shipments using company technology.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas, including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.

• Protect company assets through loss prevention practices and exceptional guest service.

• Perform other operational tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred.

• Basic technology proficiency (POS systems, Apple devices).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

• Continuous mobility throughout the store.

• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

• Coordination and manipulation of objects throughout the shift.
