Teaching Instructor

Description:

They must possess the combination of education and experiences to:

• Teach undergraduate residential and commercial courses.
• Build relationships with the community, employ technology, and utilize strategies for connecting with industry.
• Inspire and promote rigor, student success, and social mobility.
• Teach a 4/4 course load in studio and lecture formats at varying levels in at least three of the following –
• 2-D and 3-D visualization and design
• Drafting and presentation software consisting of SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Revit
• Graphic presentations
• Design for wellness
• Interior construction and detailing
• Building systems and codes
• Professional practice
• Virtual reality and artificial intelligence

Contingent upon availability of funds.

Minimum Education/Experience

Four plus years of practicing experience, over 18 hours of completed relevant master-level courses and demonstrated potential for effective teaching.
