Trade Application Support

Description:

A leading global quant fund is looking for a Trade Application Support Specialist to manage trading platform readiness, monitor transaction flows, and resolve trade operations issues. The role involves pre-trading and post-trading activities, ensuring minimal disruptions and smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and resolve trade flow issues, escalating as needed to prevent outages.

• Support global trading platforms, covering end-to-end transaction flows.

• Collaborate with teams to address incidents, manage user requests, and oversee scheduled changes.

• Develop and maintain Python and/or Bash scripts to automate trade support processes.

• Work with relational databases (SQL, Postgres, etc.) for data querying and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of trade flow support experience.

• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.

• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Postgres, etc.).

• Passion for Linux—must be comfortable in a Linux environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.

• (Nice to have) Computer Science Degree.
