SpinSci Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale our global engineering organization. This role requires an experienced leader who can manage both onshore and offshore teams, drive DevOps and SecOps best practices, and leverage AI-powered tools for coding, user stories, and quality assurance (QA). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in accelerating innovation, ensuring secure and scalable development, and fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Scale Engineering Teams – Manage and mentor onshore and offshore engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Drive DevOps & SecOps Practices – Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated security frameworks, and best-in-class cloud architecture.
- AI-Driven Development – Leverage AI tools for code generation, user story creation, automated testing, and documentation.
- Technology Strategy & Execution – Develop and execute a robust engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Agile & Modern Software Development – Champion Agile, Scrum, and modern development methodologies to drive efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Business Teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Performance & Scalability – Ensure applications are optimized for scalability, security, and performance.
- Risk & Compliance – Maintain compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance engineering productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of leading global teams.
- Strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and microservices architecture.
- Proven ability to drive DevOps & SecOps automation.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for software development, automation, and QA.
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), API development, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
