Description:

Duties

  • You will plan and design overall appearance of exhibits (permanent, temporary and offsite) up to the stage of production.
  • You will produce a variety of visual materials for public outreach programs, museum educational curricula, and for the marketing/image enhancement programs.
  • You will produce a full range of visual materials necessary to prepare finished exhibits in accordance with established museum design and production policies, as assigned and directed.
  • You will select visual materials such as photographs, illustrations, models, artifacts, to be used in the communication of information.
  • You will specify the size, style of type, color schemes, textures and shapes for banners, titles, and captions used in specialized history museums.
  • You will determine strategies for mediums, formats, and types of visual products to satisfy specific interest of variety of audiences.
