Associate Attorney

This role is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented attorney with litigation experience, particularly within the transportation and logistics sector. The successful candidate will support the firm’s representation of a large international logistics services provider and handle complex and emerging legal issues in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing a litigation caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys, ensuring timely progress from initiation to resolution.

• Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis related to transportation regulations and litigation.

• Drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.

• Participating in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as required.

• Negotiating settlements and agreements, demonstrating strong advocacy and negotiation skills.

• Collaborating with colleagues across offices and departments to ensure effective case strategy and client service.

• Preparing case analysis reports and advising stakeholders on resolution strategies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Licensed and admitted to practice law in Texas.

• Minimum 3–5 years of litigation experience, with preference for transportation, logistics, trucking, and related regulatory cases.

• Experience with emerging e-commerce and gig economy legal issues preferred.

• Deposition and motion practice required; trial experience preferred.

• Strong analytical, technical, written, and oral communication skills.
