Aerial Patrol is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Helicopter Pilot to join our team. The role involves operating helicopters safely and efficiently for a variety of services, including aerial inspection patrols of transmission power lines, gas pipelines, and associated easements. You will also contribute to aerial photography and videography, infrared surveys, LiDAR/LDAR surveys, and construction support. As an FAA-approved Part 135 helicopter charter company, we uphold an outstanding safety record. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a company with a long history of providing services to the utility and oil/gas industry since 1983.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate helicopters in accordance with all applicable regulations and procedures.

  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft.

  • Maintain accurate flight logs and records.

  • Effectively communicate with air traffic control, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Contribute to the safety and success of all operations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current and valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with helicopter rating.

  • Current and valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

  • Minimum of 1,000 total helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours.

  • Minimum of 500 turbine helicopter flight hours.

  • Ability to travel for temporary operations outside of the local area.

  • Strong communication, decision-making, and professionalism.

  • Commitment to safety and high standards of professionalism.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 1,500 total helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours.

  • Bell 206B, 206L, and 505 pilot training/experience.

  • Helicopter instrument rating (IFR).

  • Night flying experience.

  • Helicopter CFI/CFII.

  • Current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane SEL rating.

  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification.
