Metric Geo is currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Construction Manager on behalf of a prestigious ENR Top-10 General Contractor renowned for its cutting-edge work across advanced technology, healthcare, education, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chicago, IL, offering a highly rewarding career opportunity for candidates with proven expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction management.

The selected candidate will play a critical leadership role, overseeing MEP operations on large-scale, technically complex construction projects. You will be responsible for supervising all MEP-related construction and systems, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing project schedules from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MEP construction team, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed in accordance with design specifications, codes, and project requirements.

• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors, to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

• Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, proactively addressing and resolving any issues or delays related to MEP components.

• Monitor and enforce quality control standards throughout all phases of MEP construction.

• Oversee the implementation of site safety protocols specific to MEP work, collaborating closely with safety officers and compliance teams.

• Review and approve technical documents, plans, and system designs, ensuring alignment with the broader construction strategy.

• Track and manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials specific to MEP trades.

• Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior leadership and project executives.
