Shutts & Bowen LLP, a prestigious full-service law firm with a legacy of over a century, is seeking an experienced Partner to join its Construction Litigation Practice Group in the Tampa office. With approximately 270 attorneys across eight offices in Florida, the firm is well-known for providing exceptional legal services in over 30 practice areas to clients locally, nationally, and internationally.

In this role, the selected Partner will collaborate with multiple Board-Certified Construction partners, representing diverse clients in complex, high-value construction disputes. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a personal caseload, including high-value, complex construction litigation matters.

• Conduct and oversee depositions, hearings, and trial preparation independently.

• Collaborate closely with other Board-Certified Construction partners on major cases.

• Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, ensuring the highest professional and ethical standards.

• Maintain strong client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of significant experience in construction law, preferably in high-value, complex disputes.

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.

• Ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution.

• Exceptional litigation, research, and courtroom skills.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Portable book of business.

• Outstanding academic credentials.

• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented law firm environment.
