The Director of Scholarship Programs administers impactful scholarship programs benefiting students at Texas A&M University. Serves as an ambassador of the Texas A&M Foundation and Texas A&M University with responsibility overseeing prestigious scholarship programs such as PES, FEA, EOA and the Haynes Scholars for the Foundation, matching donors to scholars and facilitating interaction between the groups through events and written communications.

What You’ll do...

Role As the Director of Scholarship Programs, you will serve as an ambassador for the Texas A&M Foundation and Texas A&M University, leading efforts to administer and grow impactful scholarship programs. In this role, you will:
 

  • Oversee prestigious scholarship programs such as PES, FEA, EOA, and Haynes Scholars.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand scholarship impact and align donor generosity with student success.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Foundation-administered scholarships, providing responsive and knowledgeable service to donors, parents, and recipients.
  • Manage scholarship guidelines, agreements, and compliance with donor intent.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and campus partners to ensure seamless scholarship administration and reporting.
  • Represent Scholarship Programs at events and foster meaningful donor-scholar engagement.
  • Lead departmental goals, inspire team members, and maintain operational excellence through data-driven performance metrics.

What we require...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in scholarship administration, higher education administration, or related field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate complex situations with professionalism.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of the Texas A&M Foundation.
